Born and bred on Anglesey, Sam has come full circle. A designer and photographer, she has lived in Manchester for over 25 years but 10 years ago bought a home back on Anglesey in beautiful Aberffraw and spends half her time between both. After spending most of her adult life working for large agencies she gave up this to start her own business in 2020, Miss’Chief creative and went from working with big name clients around the world she began offering creative design solution to small business’. Within the first year Sam had a list of clients and seemed to attract female entrepreneurs. Her work is born out of my love for the visual and the simple art of making a mark! As a designer and illustrator she is able to help with both ends of the spectrum and can produce original characters and illustrations for any project, or use graphic design skills to develop logo designs, full branding, info graphics, print layouts, and front end website designs.
She is also our brand designer at It’sHer and part of the team that offers these retreats and workshop. This year she is offering creative workshops out in nature from art using sea glass to prints using natural products. Sam also has an Etsy page selling her prints!
Her other business is her beach house in Aberffraw which she has had for nearly ten years and rents out. She is passionate about it being a magical escape for anyone and especially the dogs! Every year she raises money for different dog charities close to her heart and over the last year has been involved in creating retreats on the island to share that special energy with like-minded women.
