Say hello to Hazel Bainbridge
from Good Place Coaching
I have always been fascinated by why people do what they do. That curiosity became the thread throughout my working life, from a career in management and leadership to training as a professional coach in 2003, running my own business for over 10 years and later becoming HR Director for a fast-growing SME.
I looked confident and capable on the outside, but there was another side to my story. I pushed myself hard, struggled with exhaustion and often felt like an outsider, even when I was successful. Eventually, I burned out. Being diagnosed autistic with ADHD later in life gave me a completely different understanding of myself and of the patterns that had shaped the way I worked and lived.
It reflected what I noticed through years of coaching others. We can understand a problem intellectually and still find ourselves repeating the same patterns. Real change starts with understanding the whole person: our story, our values and strengths and what our body is telling us instead of overriding it.
Good Place Coaching brings all of this together to support thoughtful, capable people navigating change, uncertainty and complexity, including those who are neurodivergent or discovering they may be. I give people space to understand themselves differently, build capacity for change and write a more empowering story to move forwards with.
In today’s fast paced world, the pressure to perform and measure up feels relentless. Always on, juggling demands, our capacity wears thin. Thoughts tumble over each other, we push harder for less return — and it steals our joy and vitality, potentially leading to illness and burnout. My aim is to give you space to breathe and gain perspective. By coaching with the body in mind, we’ll go beyond trying to ‘think’ your way into change. You’ll learn to tap into your body’s intelligence, release blocked energy, and build resilience from the inside out. By embodying the changes you want, you’ll feel empowered to move forward with relaxed intention and purposeful action.
This might be for you if:
• You’re functioning, not thriving - running on empty but still pushing through
• You want to advance your career and need clarity and direction
• You’re a perfectionist striving to do your best but never feeling enough
• You want to be more relaxed and at ease speaking up in challenging situations
• You are neurodivergent (or suspect you might be) and want to figure things out with someone who gets it
• You’re delivering on all fronts, but your health and relationships are taking the strain
• You’re struggling with imposter syndrome, drained by second guessing yourself
• You know this isn’t sustainable and are ready for change
